I worked with Fashion Design student Raquel Sutherland to deliver accessories for her final collection ‘Serendipity’. Based on the principle of ‘Serendipity’ or ‘happy accidents’ a ‘clean collection’ was developed that was then spilled upon with colour, print and embellishments.

 

The aim was to use materials that once formed couldn’t be replicated making each luxurious piece totally unique. To compliment this ethos I created free form glass shapes that add colour and texture to the garments. Designing these large abstract glass accessories to adorn the body and working collaboratively with someone from another discipline has been an exciting and rewarding experience.
